The Undertaker’s first year in the company was an eventful one. The hot young star was quickly positioned near the top of the card, proving to be a credible threat to the company’s main event stars. His manager switched from Brother Love to the obese, terrifying Paul Bearer, who did most of the talking. Taker was also given several gimmicky supernatural powers, such as the ability to summon lightning and fire, as well as teleport from place to place, but thankfully once he got into the ring we were spared any cheesy special effects. He made his WrestleMania debut squashing Jimmy Snuka, which will figure into a later entry in this list, but it was exactly a year after his debut, at SummerSlam 1991, that he had his first dance with the big belt, winning the Heavyweight Championship from Hulk Hogan.
